Complete Physio offer an injection clinic in the heart of Somerset. Stuart Wareham is an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist and musculoskeletal sonographer with over 20 year’s experience in NHS, sports, military, and private practice settings. Stuart is able to use his skill set in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, ultrasound guided injections and prescribing to help target therapeutic injectables into joints and tissues implicated in a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Ultrasound guided injections can provide rapid pain relief for many common conditions such as osteoarthritis, tendon pain, frozen shoulder and plantarfasciitis. An appointment includes a thorough assessment, an ultrasound scan and injection if deemed appropriate after a shared decision-making process involving all options.

The clinic is based in an NHS Community Hospital in the village of Cotford St Luke, 4 miles from Taunton. Cotford St Luke can be accessed by car along the A358 or B3227. If arriving from the A358 drive through the village and head out along Dene Road. At the bottom of the hill as the road bends round to the right there’s a sharp left turn which takes you up another hill to the hospital on your right-hand side after 150 meters. If arriving from the B3227 drive along the road towards Cotford St Luke and bear right at the base of the hill as the road bends to the left after 200 meters. There is a signpost for the hospital at this junction. From there the hospital is 150 meters on your right-hand side.

Getting here

By Car:
The clinic is based in an NHS Community Hospital in the village of Cotford St Luke, 4 miles from Taunton. Cotford St Luke can be accessed by car along the A358 or B3227. If arriving from the A358 drive through the village and head out along Dene Road. From the M5:
The B3227 is easily accessible from junction 26 of the M5. If arriving in this direction take the A38 heading east towards Taunton. After around 2 miles take the left turn towards Bradford-On-Tone and Oake. Drive through both villages until you reach the B3227. Turn right towards Taunton before turning left towards Cotford St Luke after 1 mile. Drive along the road towards Cotford St Luke and bear right at the base of the hill as the road bends to the left after 200 meters. There is a signpost for the hospital at this junction. From there the hospital is 150 meters on your right side.

Parking & accessibility

Parking: Free
As you enter the hospital grounds bear right and drive a short distance around the back of the main building to a large car park.

Access:
Immediately adjoining the car park, a white awning covers the 20-meter walk to the main entrance where you’ll find a reception area with seating directly in front of you as you walk in. Alert the reception staff of your arrival and have a seat in the waiting area. The clinic takes place within an NHS setting and the NHS admin team will check you in before the clinician collects you.

Facilities:
There is disabled access, a disabled toilet, and no stairs to negotiate.
