About Emerson
Emerson has been working as a musculoskeletal sports physiotherapist since completing his BSc (Hons) in 2005, specialising in sports and fitness injuries.
He completed his post-graduate qualifications in injection therapy in 2015 and is an experienced musculoskeletal sonographer, allowing Emerson to be included in the small number of Physiotherapists able to offer ultrasound guided injections.
In addition, Emerson completed his Masters level study of Independent Prescribing in 2020 and is now able to consult, prescribe, and advise on medications.
Emerson now combines an extended scope specialist NHS role which includes diagnostic ultrasound, corticosteroid injections therapy, supervision of MSK sonography students, and the management of complex cases with a private practice at Complete Physio.
